General Booking Procedure and Payments

We welcome your enquiry and endeavour to organise a perfect celebration for you. Please let us know your preferred date, time and approximate guest numbers and we will send you a quote. Minimum 4-hour boat charter, unless specified otherwise. Prices provided are in $AUD and subject to change without notice. Any discount offers are at the discretion of the Owner.

To secure your booking — We require a 50% deposit, or the vessel hire amount. The final payment will be due 14 days prior to the charter along with final numbers, food and beverage requirements and any other special requests. Please note if you do not pay for your booking in full, the charter cannot go ahead. Payments to be made by Electronic Fund Transfer, credit card or cash.

What if my guest numbers increase or decrease after final payment?

If your guest numbers increase after this date you must notify us and the additional balance to be paid at this time. If your guest numbers decrease after you have paid in full, unfortunately we cannot refund you as crewing and catering have already been arranged.

For BYO Food Cruises, must I advise you if my numbers increase or decrease after I have paid?

Yes, even though you have requested a BYO Food cruise notification is required for crewing requirements.

What happens if I want to cancel the cruise?

Within 14 days — If the charter is cancelled inside 14 days and full payment received, the charter can be postponed to another available date within 6 months. However, within 4 days your catering, wait staff and special ordered alcohol will be forfeited.

Outside 14 days — If notice of cancellation is 14 days or greater and full or part payment received. Either the charter fees can be postponed to another available date within 6 months, OR the majority of your refund will be returned, though forfeiting a $600 booking staff administration fee.

Peak period — All payments for all November thru February, public holiday and special Sydney Harbour event bookings will forfeit a $600 booking staff administration fee.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off Locations

There are numerous places you can be picked up from around Sydney Harbour; we recommend Darling Harbour King St Wharf – Balmain either Yeend St Pontoon, or Thames St Wharf – Woolwich Dock Pontoon – Mosman – Double Bay. Please talk to us about wharf options that best suit your guest’s needs (factors to consider include whether guests be catching public transport, hiring a bus, driving their own car and needing somewhere to park). Note: Certain wharves may not be suitable due to size, wharf condition or tight access and certain weather conditions.

Can guests or entertainers be picked up late or dropped off early at another wharf?

Multiple pick up and drop off points are not recommended as this will shorten your charter time significantly. We suggest that guests wishing to join the charter late or leave early should arrange alternative transportation via water taxi at their own cost.

All hired entertainers who are paid for a limited time must board the vessel on departure and remain on the vessel for the full length of the cruise, OR at your cost:

1. a water taxi to transport them to the vessel at later time
2. a water taxi to collect them off the vessel and transport them to a nearby wharf

Bond

A $1,000 credit card bond will be processed at the beginning of every booking, which will be released within seven days of the charter — unless any damages have occurred. Please note certain event types may be deemed higher risk and therefore a greater bond may be required. Any waiver of the Bond will be at the discretion of the Owner.

Weather

Cruises will go ahead in all-weather unless forecast to be dangerous for boating. Sydney Harbour is known as one of the safest harbours in the world with moderate temperatures throughout the year. We are spoilt for choice with numerous bays, rivers and steep landscapes to provide protection from unexpected weather. A good idea is to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, wrap, hoodie or jacket.

Cruise Safety Information

• If the cruise organiser would like go somewhere specific on Sydney Harbour, talk to the Captain.
• Any BYO food, drink and supplies brought aboard will be stored with the crews help.
• BYO music is great however we need 10 mins before a crew member can help, to finalise our safe departure and safety briefing, in the meantime we will provide music.
• You can store your bags and personal gear below deck in one of the party cabins.
• You may smoke on the deck, but please use the ashtrays. There is no smoking below deck.
• Swimming activities can be arranged. The captain will announce when it is safe to enter the water. Please bring your own towels, as swimmers are not allowed below deck until dry, due to potential slip and fall incidents.
